Olaf is a professional basketball coach with 25+ years experience on 3 continents with men and women on both the club & National team level. In the US he has coached in the WNBA & Division I college. Formally the Assistant Coach of the 2021 WNBA Champions Chicago Sky, Olaf will bring his coaching talents to New York to serve as Assistant Coach of the New York Liberty. Olaf values giving back to his community by sharing his knowledge of the game through coaching young & aspiring female athletes.

Sandy needs little introduction as she is well known for her prior role as the Head Coach of the Phoenix Mercury. Sandy now serves as Head Coach of the New York Liberty. As well, Sandy is a former Olympian and pro-basketball player in the WNBA and is responsible for the Australian Woman's National Team. Sandy brings a wealth of experience to the table. Sandy will join our practices and games whenever her time allows.

 Ben York joins Kaizen with over 15 years of experience at the high school, college and professional levels. Ben previously spent 10 years in the NBA/WNBA in a variety of roles including operations and digital. During his time with the Suns & Mercury he was mentored by WNBA Champion head coach Corey Gaines. Coach Yorkie, as his players affectionately call him, has also had stops at East Valley Elite and Poston Butte High School. He is currently an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Park University. Ben’s coaching philosophy starts with instilling self-confidence and inspiring motivation.
